After a very successful summers’ worth of plant propagation, and the greenhouse bursting at the seams with new perennials, we needed a new garden space to put them all. Andrew, once again, works his magic with stone, building a low retaining wall along the driveway. Once complete, it will span 96 feet and connect the end of the drive with the small, oddly elliptical artesian well border (which was really only created to keep me from running over the wellhead with the mower).
The next post will show the completed wall.
